Our Commitment
Blackbox Labs SRL is committed to ensuring that PaymentPulse is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the accessibility and usability of our platform in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
Accessibility Features
PaymentPulse includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard Navigation — All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard, including forms, dialogs, tables, and navigation menus.
- Semantic HTML — We use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
- Color Contrast — Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Responsive Design — The interface adapts to different screen sizes and supports text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Focus Indicators — Visible focus outlines are provided for all interactive elements when navigating with a keyboard.
- Form Labels — All form inputs have associated labels, and error messages are clearly communicated.
- Alternative Text — Images and icons include descriptive alternative text where appropriate.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas of PaymentPulse may have accessibility limitations:
- Some third-party integrations (e.g., Stripe payment forms, Plaid bank connection) are provided by external services whose accessibility is outside our direct control.
- Charts and data visualizations on the reports page provide data tables as accessible alternatives, but the chart graphics themselves may not be fully accessible to screen readers.
- PDF invoice documents are generated with text content but may not include full structural tagging for screen reader navigation.
Conformance Status
PaymentPulse aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the harmonised European standard EN 301 549. We perform regular accessibility audits and testing with assistive technologies including screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation. We are actively working to address any identified issues.

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of PaymentPulse. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

For users in other EU/EEA countries, please consult your national accessibility enforcement body.
Technical Information
PaymentPulse is built with modern web technologies including Next.js and React, using semantic HTML5 elements and ARIA attributes. We use the shadcn/ui component library, which is built on Radix UI primitives — designed from the ground up with accessibility in mind, including proper ARIA roles, keyboard interactions, and focus management.
